Preparation -explanation of the various rhythm possibilities according to Laban's structural model -exercising in duos: calling the rhythms for each other; calling/naming what is seen; challenging the other's expectation
Moving -exploring the shifts from one to the other independently. Noticing any differences in the speed of initiation of movement and of thought in defining of what seen or experienced.
TASK - Rhythms
Instructions set for this task: "Use the knowledge from Body parts & Organs and the rhythmical choices to produce movement, changing from one rhythm to another. Consider the speed at which the changes are happening”
Research Methodology: PaR; interview on: Choreological Studies, Laban's structural model Experimentation of designed exercises in the studio bringing awareness to speed and to where movements begin Observation of the result of the exercise
The dancers practice their understanding of different rhythms and vary the speed of their movement based on: Continuous Impulse Impact Rebound Swing Stillness
